As a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (CSMT), Earon completed an intensive 15 month program with more than 710 classroom hours, volunteer work at the school's clinic and special events and an internship at a center assisting people living with cancer.  CSMT trains its students in the sciences of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and muscle pathology, and in an eclectic mix of massage techniques and modalities, including Swedish and Clinical massage, integrating aspects of many modalities including trigger points, myofascial, deep tissue, body mobilization, sports massage, breathwork, postural analysis, energy work, and others.  He currently serves on the CSMT Graduate Advisory Committee in addition to working part time at the school's Professional Clinic and had the opportunity to instruct students at the Student Clinic.

Over the past seven years, Earon has studied and experienced traditional, intuitive healing practices, energy work and interspirituality.  He continues to study meditation and breathwork with Jerome Smith of the Himalayan Institute and Kabbalistic Healing with Rabbi Dr. Goldhammer.  He has completed the Shamanic Training Program and Practicum of the School for Creative Community in Chicago with Joan Forest Mage.  In June 2005 he studied Tui-na (Chinese Healing Massage) with Master Tim Wong at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY.   Earon studied interspirituality with the late Brother Wayne Teasdale, and is a certifiied Reiki Master studying with Billie Topa Tate at the Mystical Sciences Institute in Evanston.

Prior to beginning his healing massage career, Earon attended the Chicago Public Schools and the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Earon earned his Masters in Public Health from UCLA and his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.  He has served as an environmental consultant, advocate, writer, nonprofit executive director, newsletter publisher and attorney in the fields of non-profits, environmental protection and health.  For more information on Earon's environmental work, click here -- Earon's Environmental Pages --

Earon's education and professional experience, along with the experience of raising children, helped him gain a deeper appreciation for the complexity and subtle nature of all healing process (personal, community, regional, national and global) and the important role of alternative therapies, mindfulness, systems thinking, lovingkindness, laughter and ancient wisdom in wellness, healing, disease prevention and sustainability.

Born and raised in Chicago, Earon has lived on the North Shore for the past 26 years, after also living in St. Louis, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.  He is the proud father of three young adults and was privileged to be a stay-at-home Dad.  As a life-long learner, he very much enjoys the vast richness of human culture and our natural world.  It is his hope to help people live healthier and happier lives so that our world may become a better place for all of us.  Massage clients have referred to him as "the gentle giant."

Earon's Massage News

To help describe my healing work, I developed the concept of "Wellness Fusion Massage."   This concept creates a focus on wellness rather than disease; using a fusion of many techniques and modalities - rather than one modality; and infusing the massage with energies and images that facilitate connection and healing.

In addition to my home-based practice, I do "house calls" and  I work part time at the Professional Clinic of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy.  I am currently also practicing part time at ENH Integrative Medicine Department at the Park Center in Glenview at the Glen, North Shore Wellness Services in Northbrook, and at the Mystical Sciences Institute in Evanston.

I have co-taught the new "Meditation and Massage" classes I helped Marla Goldberg develop at "Yoga Here and Now" in Deerfield.  Marla and I have also created individual "Mindful Massage" sessions using the powerful synergy between intuition, massage and energy work with two practitioners.  These sessions are held in Northbrook, at North Shore Wellness Services, Ltd.  Please contact me if you are interested in arranging one of our one-hour private sessions or in attending the classes, which provide particpants with guided meditation and imagery and a 10-15 minute fully clothed healing massage.  For more information, please refer to the navigation bar below:
